Ciaran Moore is a Virtual Reality artist, fashion textiles designer and founder of immersive art co-creation platform PORT4. He trained in textiles at The Glasgow School of Art (2015) and the Royal College of Art (London, 2019), specialising in printed textiles through 3D, digital design and manufacturing process innovation. 

Also working within music industry creative direction and merchandise, his stage installation for electronic musician SOPHIE was shown at Royal Festival Hall (London) during her performance for Meltdown festival in 2019. Ciaran had his first solo residency at London gallery The Koppel Project Campus in 2020, is an occasional visiting lecturer at the Royal College of Art and has been included on several industry panels on technology in fashion.

Ciaran’s research and studio practice focuses on the potential digital craft and systems of mass customisation have to reduce the environmental impact of the fashion industry, which has gone on to be the foundations of ARAN LABS. 

Ciaran was the winner of the 2018 Bill Moggridge Award at the Royal College of Art (presented by The Bill Moggridge Foundation, Techmer PM and IDEO), the 2015 Texselect Award and the 2015 Verve for Design Award for innovation.
