Reworking intimacy whilst educating herself through conversation— she feels cancelled.

After difficult mental episodes LUEDER enjoys the possibility of a new future as a platform for its designer Marie Lueder’s work as an artist.

Being able to stand back and reflect what she wanted to create, her new mental armour could be used in an intimate exchange with a new wearer.

This inclusive collection allows oneself to create a missed experience. The aura of a retail space where a buyer would physically enter to be activated and thus activate the space. Digital support as a future talisman, an automated helper to serve the performance of the wearer and buyer is created with the aid of AI and VR.

For Lueder as a creator, working with the customer directly means a completely new research tool. It supports her desire to care for and to support the wearer. Creating a bespoke garment for an individual’s mindset.

Lueder found that remnants of times when she was trained as a tailor in the opera informed this need for emotional connection to a customised piece.

Now that we feel so (dis)connected, struggling to understand the present, it is Lueder’s wish to improve on this through the sensorial experience of wearing and wishing and fictionalising the world of LUEDER.

She invites the wearer to the past, the present and a positive outlook of a future through the dream-wake state she has developed. Working with motion and VR designers and -artists to develop interactive experiences to nurture the senses.

They developed an inclusive tool for everyone to share and engage with worldwide via Instagram.
To manifest the aura of a brand through the playful access to AI is the desired approach to Lueder’s work its informed and interested through a new collaboration with VR artist Ciaran Moore of ARAN LABS and interaction designer and engineer Raunaq Bose.

The composition used in the video is a score by sonic artist græd.
